This year’s Vegan Fest is going to be in Bologna! It’s a great location, as Bologna is home to one of the oldest Universities in Italy.
The dates are 9-12 September AND they are looking for volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to help out for a good cause!
Programs run from about 10:00-18:00 daily and include everything from talks on Ethical Treatments of Animals, Veganism, Cooking shows plus there will be vendor stands to buy and sample products and get more information on veganism.
There will also be a special VEGAN GELATO (vegan ice cream) section, the first this year, which will have talks on making homemade vegan ice cream with some of the top ice cream makers in Italy! Not to mention the many samples of vegan ice cream afterwards!
They do have some parts of the website now translated in English, which is an advancement from last year.
